No need for long driving skills here. Aim down the right side of the fairway as this the place to hit your approach from. Anything left off the tee will block your approach and require you to hook shot at best. The green is slightly raised, which makes it difficult to judge the distance, so aim between the two bunkers on your approach.

Not reachable for most players, so ensure you lay back of the fairway bunker, which will also give you a considerably wider landing area. The green slopes slightly from to back on the right side so don't try to fly the ball all the way to the hole

A great little Par3 that ideally requires a soft draw into a three-club green. Avoid the large green side bunker on the left, but bailing out right will leave you with a chip that is deceptively fast.

The safe play is to leave yourself a longer approach of around 150 yards and take the fairway bunkers out of play. Position your tee shot on the left side of the fairway, as shots right can get blocked by grouping of trees. Don't be too greedy as water guards the left and cuts into the fairway for long hitters. As usual, keep your approach short of the hole.

A great short hole with options off the tee. The left fairway is much longer and wider, so aim about 10 yards left of the tree in the middle of the fairway. The green is wide but narrow in depth, especially on the left side. When the pin is left you'll have a blind shot over a mound, so unless you have a wedge in your hands it's safer to aim away from the mound to the right.

A nice little Par 4, where finding the fairway is crucial, and there is no need to hit driver. The green is undulating, and as with all holes with watery approaches, stay looking at the ball for that extra second as the tendency is to take a peek and see if your ball is going to stay dry. The green is slightly elevated and tends to make your approach half a club longer.

W7 Another great view from the Tee Box, and the only place you won't make par is from the water guarding the left side of the fairway, so aim just to the left of the furthest fairway bunker on the right. There is room around the green and if you've driven it in the fairway it's a green light to go for the green in two. The green is large making for a relatively simple up and down if you miss the green.

Another good little Par 3 which always seems to cause problems due to a large water hazard punishing errant tee shots right. unless you're hitting your irons purely today, aim for the middle of the green regardless of where the pin is.

A great hole to finish the nine. Aim down the far left and hit a power fade leaving yourself a middle or long iron to a tricky little green. There is no good place to miss your approach, so take that each bit of time ensuring your preparation is correct for your approach. The green can play up to four clubs difference so take note of the pin location.

A demanding short Par 4 that demands accuracy off the tee to avoid the water left and right. Smart players hit a long or middle iron and leave themselves a longer approach. If your tee shot is down on the left side of the fairway, you'll need to hit more club because the green is elevated. Do not leave your approach short as this will require a very difficult bunker shot at best.

Position your drive between the 140 and 120 yard area to avoid both fairway bunkers as you will want to be in the fairway to hit your approach shot to this peninsula type green. Water guards the left side of the green so aim for the right side of the green regardless of where the pin is.

A straight forward Par 3 that requires a middle iron into a narrow green guarded by bunkers front and right and mounding on the left. The play is to aim at the left portion of the green and hit a soft fade.

Perhaps the best Par 5 on the West Course. The key is to hit the fairway with your tee shot, because water guards the entire left side of the hole, and anything right is most likely going to force you to aim at the water for your lay-up. It is a difficult approach shot with a bunker and mounding guarding the front right of the green, with water and bunkering guarding the left.

One of the few opportunities to stand on the tee and rip it. Aim at the right corner of the left fairway bunker and hit a power fade as you want to be as close to this green as possible. The green is slightly elevated so hit half a club more as anything short will roll back to you and make for a very difficult 3rd shot. .

The driving area is generous but try to position your tee shot on the right side of the fairway. Hit a soft draw into this green and avoid the bunkers on the left at all cost. Ensure you pick out a spot to aim at for the tee shot as the tendency on an open hole such as this is to just hit it without aiming.

Short Par 3 surrounded by trouble. It's a rarity to see anybody long on this hole, so hit one more club than usual, especially as it usually plays into the prevailing wind. The green is flat but a relatively large target to aim at.

A very difficult finishing hole where you should consider hitting a 3-wood off the tee, aiming down the left side of the fairway. Pay special attention to your aim to ensure you give yourself the best chance to hit it straight. If you miss the fairway consider laying up short of the creek that bisects the fairway. The front portion of the green slopes from front to back which makes it difficult to get the ball close to a front pin location.
